Parenting 1

In this class, you’ll learn all the basics of being a first-time parent. Some of the lessons will be on things you’ve likely never thought of, like how to perform infant CPR and will also cover important topics like nutrition throughout your pregnancy. We’ll also cover things like car seat safety, and what to expect as you navigate pregnancy and parenthood for the first time.

We also offer a men’s group as part of our Parenting 1 class. This class is for guys who will be dads for the first time and would like some coaching and help preparing.

The information provided for men and women in this class is for during the pregnancy and until the baby is one year old.

Parenting 2

This class is designed for women (and men) who are post-delivery and have taken Parenting 1. This class is focused on understanding baby milestones and learning about positive discipline techniques.

10-10-10 Decision Making

This class focuses on developing decision-making skills and goal setting through a creative process. It’s designed for anyone who is already or is becoming a parent.

Introduction to Natural Family Planning (NFP)

This class is for anyone who is interested in a non-hormonal birth control. Learn the basics of natural family planning, how it works, and how to make it work for you.

Mini Courses

These classes are shorter and are offered at various times throughout the year. Topics covered are things like car seat safety, decision making skills, and financial planning. Follow us on our Facebook page to learn more about when and where these classes take place!

Nurturing God’s Way

This class is an evidence-based program that uses Scripture to illustrate points along the way, clarifying reasons for behavior and providing instructions for parents and children on the parenting journey. It also walks through encouragement for past, present, and future actions performed well, and provides hope for tomorrow.

All of our classes are offered at both our Roswell and Forest Park locations. For insurance reasons, we are unable to provide childcare during classes, so please make other arrangements for your children.
